About Tiny Whabbit
Tiny Whabbit is a small, independent app that helps parents and caregivers build a daily habit of speaking their heritage language with their children. It is operated by Omowunmi Kolawole, a parent who wanted a calmer, warmer way to pass on her mother tongue at home.
What it does
Instead of formal lessons or drills, Tiny Whabbit gives parents short prompts — "tiny moments" — that fit into existing daily routines like meals, bath time, and bedtime. The first language we support is Yoruba, with more heritage languages planned.
Who it is for
Tiny Whabbit is designed for and used by adult parents and caregivers. It is not directed at children, and children do not interact with the app directly — parents read prompts and use them in conversation with their kids.
How we sustain it
Tiny Whabbit is free for every family. Parents who would like to help us keep it free can chip in any amount they choose, or become a monthly Patron from $0.99/month. See our Pricing page for details. All payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.
